I would personally prefer Blithfield as it is more central and also the venue is very similar to Roadford.

Chris, you might be able to borrow my I14 needle spar for the event if it will fit, I can bring it with me.

I am not sure about the traveller, I have only seen them with threaded ends so you can put nuts on.

I'm sure someone here will have the answer though.
