Interesting pic, probably a stupid question, but what's the thing in the middle between the hammers?neil wrote:make sure you have plenty of hammers, and a small plane.

Thanks good advicePeterV wrote:. I always end up thinking the doing was a lot easier than the worrying about it beforehand.
As I have a young family I get very little time to do the doing bit, but seem to have a lot of time to do the worrying part!

Re: Tools
For me I think it's a confidence thing. I been around boats long enough to know that it's far too easy to cause a lot of damage with a power tool in the wrong hands With a jigsaw I could mess up a lot, with a dremmel it would be a lot less. I already have the garage, although I have a lino floor not...

Re: How do i refit my bailer on Citrene
Thanks for your replys, I kinda knew you would all suggest option 1. My fiberglass skills are ok, but my woodwork skills are non existent so I'm just lacking the confidence to do it the 'right' way I found what appears to be a good guide on replacing sections of ply on the West System epoxy web site...

How do i refit my bailer on Citrene
Hello Another newbie question about my Pegasus I found rot around the Port bailer. So today i removed the fitting to see how much wood was gone. A lot of the wood long the inboard and aft edge crumbled away meaning there isn’t much left to refit it to. Which has got me questioning the best way to re...

ok so you find rotten wood, what do I do next?
This evening I discovered a patch of rot on Citrene, (Pegasus 48) I kinda expected it when I bought her, but as a wooden boat newbie I wanna know what's the right way to fix it. The inside of her has been coated in epoxy, some of which was flaking off around the base of the centre board case. So I s...

Re: what's the draft of a Pegasus? (New poster)
SO here come my questions, Many many thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to answer any of these newbie questions. First achievement of the day was getting the mast up. Whats the best way to get perfect rig tension? Is the there meant to be anything securing the mast into the mast foot? Or do ...
