Re: Mast Rotation.
Hi Rupert, Thanks for prompt reply, I do not think the mast would be able to rotate much anyway due to the fact their is a rubber gromit on base of aluminium block, I am glad the mast can be fixed it will be easier to do rigging, if you look at pictures on one of my threads on here I think it is und...

Mast Rotation.
Hi all, I would like some advice on how much or how little masts need to rotate or if they do not need to rotate at all, I would prefer if my mast did not rotate at all or very little due to rigging requirements, however if it needs to rotate some I will have to rethink rigging thanks. Rob.

Re: Rondar Fireball for charity donation
Hi Max, I know what type of paint you mean, you could probably buy a tin of garage floor paint ( their are a lot of colours, might be better colour match for your boat ) and mix in some grit, but floor paint as a rubbery texture to it anyway so might be okay without grit, you are probably right abou...

Hi Max, what is this slip proof paint, the floor of Aquabat is like glass and would benefit from something like this. Rob.

Re: Sail controls.
I was going to put a stopping knot in line in case of line fumbles, if you were for instance to drop outhaul line and it coincided with a gust it would fly through fairlead and lose sail tension etc, the Cunningham would not matter so much, but I thought it would be a pain to re run line while on wa...

Re: Sail controls.
Hi, thanks for taking a look. Nigel good idea about bungee, what I was also going to do was try tying tail of Kicker on to this bracket to keep it to hand so I will leave it where it is and if their is a problem I can tie bungee to bottom of mast, the camcleats are raised up on a block of nylon and ...

Hi Max, I was hopeless when I first went in dinghy, I thought to myself I would not teach for a million pounds, I hope you have a lot of patience. Rob.

Re: Coaching/racing weekend at Whitefriars in the early spri
There is not much chance of an Aquabat association Rupert, I think I have only one in country, no amount of searching brings up anything other than cvrda, my number is 723, so their must have been at least this amount. Max I do not think I will be going to show I always think they are to much like s...

Hi Nigel, I extended Tiller extension by about 400mm and it still looks a bit short, I do not know what original was like, but with the one I have you would struggle to get right forward and steer, but you have to draw the line somewhere, the tiller and extension are already about 5 foot 6 inches.

Re: Jotun Pioneer
Hi John, have you used 2 pack before, if you have not, it has got a very persistent smell that clings to everything for weeks, I brought some home from work once and the smell stayed in car for weeks, plus it is very toxic so be careful in a closed environment, but it is a good hard wearing finish, ...
