Re: How many feet?

Let's see.....

AC - 17'
IC - 17'
Cherub - 12'
National 12 - 12'
(not sure if this really counts, but....) L***r - 14'
And I am really unsure that the Farr 3.7 counts, considering is it still just a frame (might as well though  !) - 12'

So, take your pick from; 58', 70', 72', and 84'

Anyone for a Cherub? (1658)

Although it gives me sadness to put this boat up for sale, especially as I never got the chance to sail her, Crazy Horse (formerly Aquarius) is up for sale. http://www.keepandshare.com/userpics/m/a/x/_/mccarthy/2014-10/sb/img_2965-88488918.jpg?ts=1412535127 The hull is very sturdy, although there is...

Re: International Canoe K102 "Torment"

Also, will you be keeping her with original fittings? I have heard those 'cheese cutters' can be nasty things...

Cheers,

Max

Re: International Canoe K102 "Torment"

Michael,

She looks lovely...

Will you be doing any of the IC events in her, or keeping her for the classic stuff?

Cheers,

Max

What a lovely boat (very lucky you are!).

She looks in much better condition than our N12 too!

Well done....

Re: IC K89(?) continued....

Update: As it would appear, the boat seems to be of an unusual origin with ideas of her past ranging from a German history, right up to being an interesting amatuer built one-off, and as of yet, the most compelling idea behind where she came from is that she could be a 16'(!) IC built for Ken Davis,...

IC K89(?) continued....

All, Here are some more images of K89 (or at least I think it is K89, could be 133, but I would be a little surprised if it was, but I suppose it is possible). On the drive, and I have to say she is in rather fantastic condition, and is now lying at Draycote, awaiting some speed grip, to make her ea...

Re: GP14 and IC Rig

Sorry chaps, but may I through a spanner in the works, and put forward my interest? On the off chance that it doesn't go to someone else, I am certainly interested.... But, it looks as though a small queue has formed(!)... Martin: do you know what material the mast is made from? I mean, my interest ...

Re: Roadford Meeting date VERY IMPORTANT

Must have been an excellent event if the Y&Y report and all the comments are anything to go by! I really am hating the way my A level options have managed to have exams which are around this prime time for dinghy sailing. Not just have I missed this wonderful event, but also I shall miss the IC ...

Re: Penny 14...(K1255)

Oh, sorry!

The pictures I have of her, certainly don't look like a Nethercotte. BUT, the sails may have been swapped at some point...in other words, your K89 might well be the real K89...

Penny 14...(K1255)

Just trying to gauge some interest..... Since getting a very nice AC, and now the offer of K89 (unknown design IC), along with trying to get on with some progress with the Farr 3.7, exams, and the N12, L***r, amongst other things; The 'Penny' 14 has got to go (as much as I will be sad to see her go)...
