I have a question about question one (Who designed which?) The designer of the Flipper Scow? Was that a phonetic spelling of his name to throw us off Peer Brunn? I have his name listed as Peter Bruun

That was the flying fifteen. And that was before the tolerances were tightened. I have never heard of this European Lakes International One Design Although that was the title of the Flying Dutchman before Peter Scott suggested the F.D. name. Ah
Well the only other boat that Fox designed, that I know about, was rejected out of hand, by the olympic committee because they felt the building tolerances were too wide and that skillful builders would fiddle the rules.

Rupert,
I have to go to work now, I had not intended to send an entry. However since you are bugging me about it, I will sit down tonight and see what I can come up with. I thought I had almost ruined your quizz by giving you information, you did not want public, so I had stepped back.

Tim,
The plugs are most likely 5/16" in which case the 8mm plugs will work quite nicely in the same hole since they are just a couple of thousand's of an inch bigger.

Also if you are going to the expense of buying that stuff, you do not want to cheap out on rollers and brushes. If you are using the small foam rollers, chuck them as soon as they double in size. Also use a goo...
