There are problems with the word skiff too... Wiktionary has skiff as 1. small flat bottomed boat with flat transom, and vertical stem 2. Any small boat that can be handled by one person.. So all dinghies are skiffs, not just the modern fast ones that get called skiffs... And a Minisail, British Mot...

Certainly outside of dinghies there's the Quant 23, a foiling keelboat scow... and some Mini Transat boats have been scows too....

Good question! I've seen some carbon fibre foils that might look nice on my 1970 Moth.... So wondering the same thing...

I have the original (but broken) stainless steel rudder stock from the well known here Skol 'The Hopple' and also its original tiller with extension. I've got most of the bits you need, Rob... A Minisail hull with the aft tank cut out... waiting for extended side tanks and a higher, self draining floor... A nice flat floor would be perfect for mounting your seat to.... Plus a pair of ally moth wings, which you could hang your oars off... Come and...
