Does anyone know the name of the girl from the Steel Company of Wales SC who was the Minisail National Champion for about 3 years in the late 1960's?

Re: Blithfield 24th & 25th May
Although I only wandered in for Saturday racing, my weekend started fabulously. Indeed the event ran like clockwork and the club was very friendly and helpful. ...doing about 15 knots or more on a broad reach down the reservoir, I think Dean was rather surprised to say the least :D ... Re: Free Minisail, Sussex
MiniSail or Sprint, do you think? Any chance at some pics? I might be in that area to view on Thursday morning. First shout if it's a Sprint please.Rupert wrote:...The boat is located in Haywards Heath Sussex. It has no trailer.
If anyone wants it come and get it.

Re: CVRDA Events - Brave Jollyboat crew wanted
Hi Chris,
I could be up for a spot of Jolly sailing.
Will look at dates, when I have a moment.
Blithfield could be a possiblity.

Hi all,
Ronny and I will be attending/camping/hanging around for Sunday sailing too. Not sure about galley. Can we use the kitchen, if we leave it tidy?

Re: boat id clarification
...post request for type of boat and area on any Dinghy type websites (MInisail.org etc) and ask if they are interested in an informal meet, and see what happens. Hi all, I sailed Rob's Aquabat last week and I found it easier to sail than my MiniSails. Also sailed Paul's Monaco. Sandwell Valley Sai...

Re: National Rally - who is coming?
I can hardly let Ronny and Marijke have all the fun, so you can count me in for another tent and at least one more body for the Belgium contingent. Might just bring along my MiniSprint for a laugh too. Note to self: Buy new hat.RonnyDG wrote:Count us in please, two of us with a tent and a Minisail.

Re: Clwedog Event 25-27th May
@Julian Yes I'd like to crew for you all or some of the time. I'm used to sailing single-handed, so will need some instruction sailing crew. I have been out on a harness before (but don't have one)and I will be around all weekend. I was at the nationals last year sailing 'The Yellow Submarine' MiniS...

Re: Clwedog Event 25-27th May
I'm hoping on making an appearance too and may bring my MiniSail MiniSprint MkII "Scallywag" or another of my fleet. I've heard this is an event not to be missed. Will probably be two mouths to feed. Me and my mum Claire. Julian, I'd love a spin with you, but don't have my own harness. Get...
Re: Oh Dear
Angus, I know just what you mean. You have just saved me from having to give the explanation about why I need one more boat. Thanks for that. I was watching to see what price it would go for and the £173 is quite a bargain. I have an identical Sprint II (amongst others). I'm sure you'll be happy wit...

I almost bought this boat and I was down in Southampton recently. I've contacted the seller, but at the moment he's not answering.
