Yes, definitely a standard Stockholm Sprite as built by Dennis J. Trott & Ptnrs, similar to 1972 Nationals winner. A new set of tubes could easily be bent up from ali tube, then it needs a 2" Needlespar mast & boom and a Tratman & Lowther f/b sail for authenticity - hope the new own...

Seems to have gone a bit quiet here. I found and dug out the old newletters and looked at a few - it reminded me of who the guys are who did designs through my period in the class. John Pearce is another person who did quite a few, starting with one in 1974-5 called 'Sidewinder' that I never saw. Paul

A total lack of breeze is not necessarily impossible - it just takes practise........I have a photo in an old newsletter that shows it but can't post it. You wouldn't believe it to look at me now, but I used to be able to crouch between the front of the daggerboard and the kicker, to keep the weight...

I've been trying to post a photo of an old Moth - finally success......

It's not one of my photos, but it shows the Skol 3 shape which was wider than the 2 and with a self-draining cockpit (Peter Conway's first Moth was a Skol 3 to which he added wings).

Apart from the British designs and the Aussie scows, I took some pics of some of the European boats at the '77 Worlds at Hayling and the '83 Worlds at Eastbourne, which all adds to the story (and the confusion!). The Danish design seen somewhere hereabouts which had been pictured in the '75 yearbook...
