Like the moth used to have one just like that in 1977 red tho . Used to go like stink in a good breeze, stuck to the water in light winds tho. There were 2 or three in Newquay sailing club in Cornwall in the 70 s when Newquay was a really good club .

Thanks Keith and co for all the hard work put in to make a supurb event . I think its the only sailing event i have been to where i have actually gained weight and considering the conditions that is something , the food was oh so good.

Now i love enterprises but i think a gallon of petrol and a box of matches is the future for this one !! hey how about a cvrda bonfire night with a ritual of burning old boats ?? oops forgot we are supposed to be preserving them.Silly me , good idea tho .

Anyone know the best stuff to remove grey staining caused by water penetration from sycamore . Have used oxalic acid on mahogany very sucessfully but never bleached sycamore. Any ideas anyone ????

Thanks for the advice Alan and Nick , Shame i have to give up the ginger nuts tho !!!!. Right heres my bit of input. I think changing the main event from Roadford is on one hand a bit fearful as it does now attract a really good fleet, on the plus side it has great camping ,and a nice expanse of the wet stuff to sail on .
