We woz there on Sunday!! Colin Page was the local OK man plus four visitors which was'nt bad as this was arranged at fairly short notice by email between us all. We had two races with the club fleet with the afternoon one in particular being a bit on the wild side. 16-20mph wind over a 5+ meter tide...

This is awful, the date I mean.
This will clash with the OK's 50th birthday bash at Upper Thames which I really was looking forward to as 1211 would be in some great company. But a CVRDA bash at Netley?
Oh dear, oh dear. What a dilemma.

Hello Steve
It's all sounding better and better. I'll be there with OK 1963 or, failing that, 1211 so come and say hello. As to converting me to cats, that was done a few years ago. I sail a little Dart/ Sprint 15 in another life. Looking forward to a stroll around the cat park now.

It's not sad Nick. It's just one of those things one can indulge in when one is retired, I guess.
I have some and they are a good read are'nt they? And no, I do'nt want to part with them.

Hello Mark. Can bring the OK, no problem. However, after all this I may not make it. We are lucky enough to live near a naturist beach which is likely to be effected by a development of blocks of flats in the future. A beach day has been organised to demonstrate the popularity of this beach, so if t...

Hello again Jonathan.
Although I really enjoyed the Brightlingsea CVRDA event, I can only dream of taking a week off in Aug to go sailing. So sorry can't make this one.

Ed
Has Simone arrived home from Frensham yet? Did'nt get chance to get a close look at the Austin but it looked very good. A firefly on the back and you have the ultimate time warp.

Pat.
I missed the prize giving(well, almost.Very embarrassing!) so did'nt know you had won.Well done. Nice boat.

Yes, Vanessa has 1286 which was built by Peter Crew as was mine(1211) As for colours. Andy Rushworth would have done you any colour but everybody went for light greys and white although I did see a frog green one. I think the idea is that you blend in with the crowd so that when your bow is seen jus...
