Re: Question about Classic Finns...

Well I had a quick look at her today and she needs a bit of work. She has a very rudimentary mast foot adjustment system and there's purely a hole at deck level with no adjustment. OK sail No 1225 For Sale

Both boats now sold. All wood construction, and appears to be all original. Hull and decks in good condition, but some minor touch ups required on the varnish. The boat has under-deck controls, so you may wish to update, or keep it original as is. Needlespar Blue-top mast and excellent crispy sail,...

Re: ROADFORD MOTH SP[OT MAGNUM 9.9 AVAILIBALE

Oh how I'd love to throw my hat in the ring, but it's been 20 years (sigh) since I last sailed a Moth (Mag5) and I'm carrying an extra 2 stone. :(

Re: Removing Sail numbers.

I was told by a coach (when dealing with my kids' Toppers and Lasers) that you can dab nail varnish remover on to the rear side of the sail - the fluid will seep through the sail and weaken the adhesive on the number.

Re: So which boat should I be looking for?

I've got 2 CRVDA-able OKs that I need to sell.... one is all wood, s/n 1225 (built 1968), and the other is s/n 1963 (built 1981) but needs a deck revarnish.
Interested?

Cheers, Jon
