Interesting Garry. Have used Bluefin for a number of years and very little change. This year quote for M/R 235 & 2701 (both £500 each) was £98.

Sorry, me back again. Remember the 12's are a development class and the sail plan can differ from high to low aspect and it is important you know luff & foot measurements of main. Also ratio of main to jib can differ,(not to mention loose footed mains) so if just buying one sail make sure that i...

Beware of "newer" sails. The characteristics of wooden & alluminium masts differ and a sail cut for a bendy aluminium mast will not set well on a stiff wood one.

I was the person who gave the info. to Nessa. I have used dilute oxalic acid on a number of sails (all Dacron). Depending on the intensity of the stain repeat applications may be required. Wash area with clean water after treatment. Only on one sail there was still slight staining.

I remember this boat well. It was designed by Eric Willis who had a boat building business near Kingston bridge. I remember him bringing the prototype to Hampton SC for members to try - must have been very late 50's. I did not get a go. I have never seen another since that day.
