Re: minisprint on the bay

Interesting I forgot the Mk11 had a pivoting centreboard.
Also surely someone out there has the bolt in sliding seat mounting and seat itself, for a Monaco type one? Oh and foils.

Re: Fireball k7368

I know of the fabled AC 260/289 Shelby Cobra cars, possibly the most imitated Classic car ever, but have to admit to knowing zilch about the AC boat you are getting. Sounds interesting Max, let us hope you do not drift away from your obvious enthusiasm in Classic craft, as you always display such yo...

Re: Fireball k7368

What only one boat now Max? My Merlin is going on Fleabay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321017302143 tell your parents you want a motorbike, however if they let you bid for my boat, you will forget the bike thing-well it was worth a try... Well done anyway.

Re: Minisail found

Thanks for the info Moggy, but it is far too far for me to consider. Mine is exactly the same, http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8193/8090692242_35b84c1132_n.jpg except the bit proud of the transom to accomodate the upper pintail seems damaged on this one. Admitedly the cracks on my one at this juncture...

Re: Minisail on the Isle of Wight

This has been reduced quite considerably since I last saw it advertised. Shame it's so far, not the summer and I was able to take a break over there. even if the spare mast would be very useful toward completing my Minisprint, there is a limit to everything, like numbers of boats. Must be a real win...

Re: Molded veneer firefly on the Bay.

This boat reapeared on Fleabay, after a winning bid, as I had it in my sights before its price got past the do I really need this that badly mark. Another I saw on a nearby farm, belonged to a young woman who sailed it whilst at Uni in Bristol, but it needed redecking and I had a Fireball under the ...

Re: k3920 magnum 8

just a thought, if you can see a dialogue on the top right hand size that says view all sizes then try clicking onto it, as it could be a size or resolution issue.

Re: k3920 magnum 8

Me too, on the lap top and before that on ipad, I subscribe to FlickR, should that make any difference? Usually you get the choice of who you want to see your pictures, like family and friends only or public, but I dont think it ever says members only. Bit strange that one.

Re: What's the Answer?

Gavin - what was the wooden minisail re-think about? Not intended to be taken too seriously Rupert, just the hopelessness of gaining any favourable results against such stiff opposition, but then my motivation is more than ever after a year now since last sailing anything , to grab the opportunity ...
