I had an old IC hull years ago which someone took away to convert to some sort of rowing vessel.... (no, Jim, not the Pyranha!)

Free to a good home!

Straight, wooden mast, sound, although has been repaired around deck level, 6.91 m long, (273 inches).

No rigging.

Too good to cut up.

Near junct. 11 of M25, Chertsey, Surrey.

I used boiled linseed oil on an oak bench and it was really sticky for a long time after.........

I'd suggest that clean car engine oll would restore the patina?

Just looking at those pictures of the Mercury, I suddenly could 'smell' the wooden dinghies the old jeans, plimsolls and waterproof top I wore when sailing in the '60's and 70's......................

About 1970 I had N12 sail no. 400 ish, and that had a metal centrplate.
