Looks great, well done, looks like a manufactured item, rather than something done in your kitchen.
Re, The dust, their is something you can try, but it's not pleasent, fill your washhand basin with warm clean water, dip your face in and breathe in through your nose, works a treat for Hay fever.

Classic sailing dinghies in China.
Looks like a job for David H, nice story for him to research ?
Though not if we have to mount a rescue mission behind the bamboo curtain.

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
Good news about Chinese buyers, let's hope their is a market developing for classic boats in China, always more boats available than buyers.
Perhaps their is a Forum in China for sailing we could twin with ?
Very difficult country to access with google search etc.

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
What would it be worth ? Might be cheap labour and costs in China, but not here, cost of labour to manhandle X amount of boats into containers, add Driver of Truck plus fuel, difficult to see any margin, you can't get rid of wooden boats on ebay for 99p. I would have thought the dealer who has purch...

Hmmm, ok, I tend towards optimism myself.
However I know nothing about shipping, I can see the sense in putting items in empty returning containers.

Perhaps not such a worry,

scrap metal in a dinghy probably wouldn't buy a McDonalds.

Re: Minisail
Jules,
Theirs a Sprint at my club, exceptional unrestored condition, I am sure it comes with a double stacking trailer and a new cover, all controls led to both sides of boat, if interested I will try to contact Paul, he is a member of CVRDA.

Re: Minisail
Hi Jules, I have sailed Topper and most variants of Minisail, they are pretty much the same. Minisails being larger will carry weight better. I would also think Minisails are faster. I am selling my Aquabat which is a Minisail clone, this is centre/aft main, but can be sailed just aft or off the boo...

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
What is it costing to leave relevant boats (none ethnic) in polytunnel ?
Lottery funding, have you seen some of the things they give money to.
Concentrate on sailing dinghies.
Have an online presence, where people with relevant skill sets can take over a particular boat.
