We might have a ditch at Chippenham but it is a big ditch, it takes at least 10 secs to tack cross, look on it as excellent close tacking practice. Final programme is, 11am first race, pm. 2 races at 1.30 & 3pm ( or whenever we feel like it after lunch really) Bacon butty (world famous, at least...

Sorry to hear of another sailor sucumbing to enterprise 'dinghy knees', I too have trouble, compounded with arthritic hands, cold wet ropes are a nightmare... ugh... Deary me, sound like a bunch of geriatrics now, my most active sailing now is reading this forum, very entertaining. Still trying thou...

Thanks for the idea of an shovel handel, just the job to repair my wooden cart in the garden (got heavy handed when turning round too tight) Nice oval profile one found in Bricomarche tucked into the car amongst the wine.:).
