I bet, Mark. Since Andy Rushworth stopped building, new British built plastic OKs have not been on offer. I think I'm correct in saying that the British Assoc. have bought the Rushworth moulds and Aardvaark have taken theirs of Nick Craig's New Zealand sourced boat. Looking forward to seeing you and ...

What a very enjoyable weekend.
Thanks one and all. Hope we did'nt cramp anybody's sailing as we appeared to be sharing a mark or two on a couple of occasions with the club boats coming at it from the opposite direction. Intresting.
Would love to make a return visit if invited.

I bought a new Supernova from Mark Giles four years ago and have been very impressed. What value for money. Mark has now retired and Hartley Laminates of Kestrel and Osprey fame now build them and they are undistinguishable from Mark's boats. Older Giles boats and new Hartley boats are mixing it at ...

Or even an Enterbarge I've heard mentioned. Cannot remember where or by who but I fear it could have been by an OK sailing pal who has been extremely successful in Ents.
I learnt to sail with Dad in 9677 but have'nt been in one for over 30 years.Where is this boat now?

I see there is a Hillman Imp in the undergrowth behind the Miracle. Fancy a bit of a change in Toytown transport, Mark?

Oh no, Mark has the REAL Mini, not just a badge on some Euro Box.
Now a Finn on the back of Mark's would be interesting.
Saw a 505 at an open on the back of a Mini Van many years ago.

Alan, I was thinking more like Netley being a lot easier for folks from the east coast,Sussex, Kent,London, the Midlands etc To anywhere from Plymouth must be a crap journey. I'd have love to have come to Mayflower in last cuople of years but it has usually been in June and June is hols down in the ...

Netley!.Count me in. Unlike Plymouth, this is an easy place to get to and, of course, sailing in this area is BIG. If the event and CVRDA were advertised at dinghy clubs locally with posters(I could help with this) and maybe a bit in the local paper, perhaps 20+ is possible. And it would offer a cha...

If you have not got the lever for this sort of system, they are quite easy to make which is what I did for my OK.
If you wish, I can email you a picture or two of mine and some dimensions of the aluminium bits used which I bought locally.

Did'nt mean the Merlin was a nutter's boat in particular.
Let's face it, it helps to be of a certain bent to sail any racing dinghy.
Quite often question myself whilst sailing on cold grey days and talk to myself on every sailing day.

Hello Charles.
My old copy of the National 12 Handbook has no details for this boat, only the name you have.
Sail numbers 1691 to 1811 are given as year 1959.
Looking forward to the Frensham bash

Wow, so quick. Thanks Ed. I was out bid on a copy of the Merlin Book on Ebay a couple of years ago but the association have a very good guide to designs on their site. 2783 certainly fits the description of an Echo and appears to be just the sort not to sail well here on the sea.Oh dear. 2240 was ow...
