Re: Help! Don't know what boat to go for?

A Pacer might also fit the bill. Very light to launch but quite roomy inside with hard wearing plastic sails , two piece mast , And Spinaker friendly, or even a Miracle with similar lightweight advantages?

Re: Happy New Wotizit?

Merlin Rocket 1, =1X 1+6=7 Boats sailed 0+7= 7 Major repairs, to self, no boats involved. 1 stitch but no glue job. Not sure of the...

Re: Migration of Website Server over next week or so 20/11/

Just to clarify matters, for me at least, are we still restricted by bandwidth considerations regarding posting pictures. I see a couple of fairly large Moth pics since I last perused the forum, on one posting, prior to refurbishment of the site.
Or is it still more prudent to link such by URL,s?

Re: magnum 6

Hmm worked last time so I couldn't offer another solution on this occasion, except maybe the poster has not got the picture in the "anyone can view it " on site, I have no trouble doing such with PC Laptop on Windows 7 though. Being a member of FlickR shouldn't make a difference either? Ap...

Re: Boat covers

I must have been unfortunate with the sail Register cover I bought for my first Streaker,as the plastic part came away from the bottom surface,in quite short time. Also how ever carefully I tied the cords around the mast, water still managed to get in the boat. This resulting in some ice forming and ...

Re: Merlin Rocket Proctor XVI MR1711

Looks a nice boat, I have sold my Mk6 (for a knockdown price), as it just wasn't getting sailed. That said the old adage that she is going to a good new home, as they say, is of more importance than renumeration in this instance as far as I am concerned. The new owner and her family decide...
