Bath Hotel

Post by JB9 »

Hi, I was wondering if anybody can suggest a Bath hotel for a Saturday stay in September? We only want 1 night and they all seem to want us to stay for 2.

Thanks

Hi Trevor,

How close to the city centre do you need to be.? Are you in a position to drive/Taxi a few miles and how posh?

I only know a couple of these so I take no responsibility! But from our yellow pages…

Carfax hotel Gt Pulteney Street. 01225 347708 or 462089 Quite reasonable but temperance!! (My daughter and son-in-law have stayed there and liked it.)

Dukes Hotel Gt Pulteney strret 01225 787960
Holiday inn 0871 4234828
Pulteney Hotel Gt Pult str. 01225421261
Windsor Hotel Gt Pulteny st. 01225 422100

If you want really posh!... Royal Crescent hotel no 16 R. Crescent 01225 823333 Don’t forget your sedan chair though.

St Christophers Inn 3 Green St 01225 481444

If you like vintage you could try the George at Norton St Phillip, about 15 mins south of Bath. It’s been licenced for 700 years and used in a good few films too.
