Wah Nessa,

sailed one of these in days of old - and a Bonito too! Like Dave C I do not recall it being so bad, in fact I thought it prett nifty on a beam reach. As was said earlier..... lots of wetted area aft, so a total dog in light airs unless you're about dress size 0 (do male sailors have dress sizes??)

Hi all,

I did see the Seabat & was tempted but I am "upsizing" as befits a man of my stature.

The photo you attached is actually a Beachcomber (I also own that boat). The Seabat has no cockpit/footwell so would kill my knees.

There is also a Sailfish on there at the moment:

Someone buy them and we can open a Lateen section

A Sprog? One of my maths masters at school had one, used to be a fleet on the Thames at Middle Thames and Babbacombe. A South African boat is this one?

Looks like a Grad to me. If the sail number matches the hull she was built round about 1968 and was originally called "Magician"

Could be worth 99p just to get myself a wooden mast and boom.
