Strangely the obvious YWDB solution is shown as "unissued" in the database.

It could be an unregistered DB the stern looks very similar but there was no bow shot to see, funny that the number happens to be an unregistered one though!
Some of the early DB's differed quite drastically from the plans, my Dad built one just after the design came out & ran out of planking timber, result was she was finished of one plank lower, as far as i know she never carried a sail number, Another was reputed to have been six inches longer!

Hi There's a moilded DB on ebay advertised as an Albacore!! the guy even has a picture of the mainsail displayed which clearly shows the DB emblem.

That one has obviously picked the first class name from a list of dinghies in his ignorance :lol:
