That reminds me of something that no-one I knew could identify sailing off Portsmouth on the Beken calendar a few years ago. Caption said "Greek letter"(Lambda, Omega...not sure) class . It looked loosely Westmacott (X-boat/Victory.....etc). Was gaff rigged and looked like no current Solent class.
