They pop up now and again. Only seen one sailing once by an amateur crew at the exmoor beastie one year. The Beastieis usually pretty windy and they didnt last long. Never seen one sailed properly.

No, have to say, I have never seen one of those either.

Anybody know any more about them?

Used to be one sailed at Cawsand Bay in the early/mid 80's, same (possibly only) colour scheme, sailed by a chap between a cherub and a Hodie 14.

The one at Wimbleball was blue (if I remember correctly). Two mast positions ment that like old 420's they could sail with a crew and jib, or with the mast in the forward position, as a singlehander. I did have some more info about them years ago but probably long gone now.

I remember the one at wimbleball - it did a shore capsize one time, right onto it's owner....quite messy.

I am pretty sure there is one in the boat park at Grafham.

The one at Wimbleball is still in the dinghy park.......

I've got pics if anyone is interested but it is certainly a 'lost class'...

There was one for sale at Wishford on the Salisbury road a while back and it didn't sell as it's still in his garden. We stopped and looked at it then and thought it very Laser like. Good fun for someone, just wasn't our thing.
