Re: Hit 14
2 Hits on opposite sides of the country - how do we get you on the same bit of water?!
Great to hear we have a breeding pair, though... maybe more will come to light.

Re: Hit 14
I would like to see some photod of your controls. Mine all run to a strange metal horse type structure in the middle of the boat. Also, do you have a curved traveller that only goes to leeward?
What event is nearest the halfway point between Peterborough and Bristol? Whitefriars?

A fair few Hunts members come from Peterborough. Would be great to see the Hit here next year.

I will make a special effort for next year. This year has beena total write off from that perspective - Life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes .

Re: Hit 14
Was in Bosham at the weekend and saw a dinghy in the distance that I think was a Hit......sail number 11. I may be wrong, but can't find a pic to confirm, so only working on memory......anyone able to confirm this sighting?
Sami.
Re: Hit 14
I was near Bosham on Sunday but didn't see a Hit, only a Streaker and an unidentified single-hander with a logo of a letter R in a triangle - the Hit has a circle for a logo, I believe.

Re: Hit 14
Hi All,
Yes the Hit has a roundel as an emblem - A fat red circle.
Re the "R" in a triangle, I have a vague recollection of a single hander called a Rival but I have been unable to track down any data so far.

Re: Hit 14
Hi Geoff,
yes they can. At the bottom of "post reply" there is a section to add files. Photos need to be relatively small (less than 100k I think) otherwise it does not work.
If you have any problems, email them to me and I will upload for you.

Re: Hit 14
Hi Paul,
We must have been ships that passed in the day.......I saw the mystery "R" dinghy launch and sail in the bay, and the Hit(?) was sailing a few mins beforehand.....I was sipping cider in the Anchor Bleu!
