Not strictly a CVRDA item, but may be of interest to someone......Michael?

nice boat...

but looks well shagged to me.

there was another similar skiff recently, did fetch a bit....but this one looks just a bit 'wetter' and less inviting somehow.

This is actually a skiff. These are very popular on the Thames for recreational use and racing. Those for racing being of much lighter construction. In my younger days I used to race them - the main clubs are at Kingston (Ths Skiff Club), Thames Ditton and Wraysbury. Regattas for skiffs & punts are usually held towards the end of the traditional rowing season. Races are held for singles and doubles for men & women and also mixed.
This one is a double and is in very poor condition.

All,

If Michael Briggs was to buy this and then be most unhappy with his purchase, would it then qualify as a scull and cross bones?

Not quite... Here is a picture from "Curse of the Black Pearl" where Pintel and Ragetti distract the crew of the "HMS Dauntless" dressed as two maidens making their escape in a skiff from the Isla del Muerte.

As moonlight catches them they become the Skull and Cross dresser!!
