Hi All,
A friend sent me the following link to a amazing short film showing the key stages in Firefly construction taken during the 1950's. There is a lot of great detail in this shortfilm and I see more every time I view it - hope you enjoy it.
My question is what is the large relatively deep draft Fairey hull being assembled in the background when the Firefly deck is being fitted - my best guess is a Fairey Falcon - what do you think?

I think you are right. That shape of the first few feet from the bow is very telling.
