Hi first time posting, former laser sailer (6yrs ago) and just got this for messing about on the water, any ideas as to the history of it. Wanted to try an older style moth before spending big bucks on a shiny new one.....

Old wooden moth?
Re: Old wooden moth?
Hi Ben,
Welcome to the cvrda
I just love those(barn door) moths. We had one at a meeting a few years ago and I have always thought they look great.
There are a lot of Mothists here so I am sure you will get the info you need.

Hi,
Good looking old Moth.
The chines make me think it is an Imperium Scow.
Where you based, Aussie sail, price in dollars, so unlikely you will be sailing in the UK.
Have fun

Re: Old wooden moth?
Thanks guys, moved from the UK to Aus earlier in the year, now based down in Hobart.
Brilliant area to sail, although the locals all think it is too cold they have clearly never sailed off Exmouth in November!!
Air temp here in mid to late 20's and water 14-15 and it's spring!

I see it is no longer available - did you buy?
If so, I think you'll have a barrel of laughs in her. If not, I'm sure there are others similar out there.
