Back in the early 19 60s there was a company in Cirencester that made two dinghies, a 10'-0" and a 12'-0"
I do not think the company lasted long , I owned one of the 10'-0" dinghies, the boats claim to fame, if you can call it that was that it had wooden topsides with a fiberglass bottom. The 10'-0" dinghy was extremely light and could be easily car topped. the style was some what GP 14 ish with a single chine hull. the layup of the bottom was extremely thin being less than 1/16", (1.5mm) it almost looked as though the wooden framing was built then the bottom was draped with glass cloth and given a couple of splashes of resin. The boats had a wooden floorboard system, but I do not think you would dare sail one with the floor boards removed, you would be afraid of putting your foot through the glass.
The logo on the sail was a large Cc with the Cs interlocking each other.
Anyway I was wondering if any of these boats survived to this day?
Brian Evans.

Re: Carricraft of Cirencester
Interesting, I live and sail only a few miles from Cirencester and have never heard of them, I will ask about at our sailing club and if I turn anything up will report back.
