Streaker, there's a shell of one on ebay, looks very similar.

Yes, now I look more closely I can see a thwart, plus the thin round spars say Streaker too.

Taking a third look at the second photo I can see a chine too. Think this one hits a new level of achievement in ebay photos/descriptions if this audience is having great trouble telling a Streaker from a Contender (I thought it was a Contender at first too). I wouldn't rule out it being some obscure other thing either: it doesn't really yell Streaker at me for some reason!

I'm failing to see the chine, but the general shape says Streaker, maybe... Do people do this on purpose to make life interesting on the cvrda forum?

FWIW, I don't think this is a Streaker and I'm pretty damn sure that it is not a Contender.

But "Okay Smart arse" I hear you say, "any fool can say what it is not".

Which then begs the question....what is it?

I've two or three suggestions, but would need dimensions to prove/disprove the ideas. But it is a shame it is in such poor condition, this is one that I think should be worthy of saving from the bonfire!

My money is on Streaker...... not that i would spend any on this particular example!

Double chined.

Angled side deck in cockpit between deck and tank sides.

Joints in deck panels where Jack Holt kits were layed out. (and its converting itself back to kit form)

2 - piece mast which was a feature of the Holt kits. Top section detachable so that mast could be transported within the length of the boat. Also its a Holt round section with external track and matching round section boom that bends like a banana in heavy winds.

I loved my Imagefirst Streaker, that had been bought by its first keeper, direct off the Holt stand at Olympia, but with a hole in the bow, had been abandoned,in the Club graveyard, some years on,when he gave up sailing.

Still very solid with lovely piano finish decks,I bought it off him for 50 quid, and over the winter was repaired, just in time for the Nationals.
Didn't come last either but got third overall in that year's club racing too.
