Unknown sail insignia

Post by ian60 »

Lurking in the undergrowth in a garden in Hampshire - small composite dinghy (fibreglass hull about 9 or 10ft long. Ply decking mostly disintegrated). Rig is a small Gunter with a pivoting wooden mast about 50mm square, gaff (?) has metal jaws.
Sail emblem looks like a teddy bear but with pointed ears !

Sorry no picture available - anyone have any ideas what it might be.

Well done Jim, that’s definitely the sail and rig although the hull I saw was different with (if I recall properly) a pointed bow. PerhapsThe rig got reused?

I thought a Gremlin insignia, but I didn't think they were ever made in grp. Actually quite a dangerous boat as they had no built in buoyancy
