Aln Boatyard

Post by simon_fitz »

Hello
Part of a pet historical project of mine - does anyone have any pix of the Aln Boatyard that I can beg/steal/borrow please? They may well be used on our club website (riveralnboatclub.org) so I will obviously attribute ownership/source etc.
Please forward to simonfitzpatrick@btinternet.com
Many thanks
best rgds

Hi Simon

No pics but back in the 80's I had a Clinker yacht based on Laurent Giles "Sopranino" which we believe was built at Aln in the 60's maybe. She was called "Hobbitt" and is now I think based in Norway or Sweden.
