Does anyone have a magic solution for getting water stains out of Ash? I have tried Oxalic acid and Liberon wood bleach, but sadly neither have taken the dark grey water stains out despite numerous applications and copious sanding. Any ideas or solutions welcome.

try lemon juice and salt crystals on stain - if it works possible to obtain citric acid crystals from chemists - mix up a solution of acid and salt and apply with a cloth
good luck

Citric acid crystals also available from home brew shops!
