Ah.....the wonders of Epoxy!

Post by Ed »

I have spent the last couple of hours looking for some good photos of classic dinghies....without it must be said - much luck....

but found this image.

I have often wanted to post it - normally during one of those threads on how good epoxy is for coating.

This is Rozzer MR999 the next morning after the then owner had coated the decks with epoxy.....just a wee bit too late in the day.

And of course....yes.....that is an Int Moth trolley on top.....but the question is: what design? :-)

With that vintage of wheels and a GRP cradle, can't be earlier than a Magnum 8, I'd say!

Looks like the cockpit floor of my last Moth which I also did too late in the day!

The trolley looks like a Magnum 5 or 6; too rounded for an 8.

I recall the moth was yellow and the surrounding air was blue!

Indeed!

I was going to mention that this was the moth you (Chris) had mentioned in a previous posting.

Alan (owner of Rozzer and Moth) now flies moths around various lakes - mainly Axbridge I suspect.

@PaulM you are right - a Magnum 5 I seem to remember.
