I just broke the tiller on my scorpion and am wondering the best way to fix it. It was hardwood with an oblong hole for a flange off the top of the rudder stock and not surprisingly the wood split. I should have reinforced it before it split but now would prefer something stronger and maybe lighter.
Are there class rules or can I use a lighter tiller and stock? I would prefer a metal tunnel on the stock so I can push a tiller in for a tight fit.

Go to the class web site, there should be a link to the class rules there. From memory I think you can use an ally tiller and possibly ally stock. bt you would need to check!
