Dear All,
was recently in a local wood-merchant (which as it goes, I really don't like, so don't visit often) down here near Tavistock.
They had a very impressive board of Iroko.
Measuring 375 x 65 x 4300mm it is a big lump of wood. It looks pretty damned straight and as far as I could see free from shakes/knots etc.
They were asking for £140 + vat, which although I have not worked out the price/cube-ft, seemed pretty damned good.
So, if anyone is interested, (immediately thought of Mark J's 'little' project) give me a call.
cheers
eib
