How about a FAQ section?

Post by phil58490 »

During the recent bad weather I have been filling some of my spare time reading through this section. There is an enormous amount of excellent material in here and I have learnt a lot but some of the true gems of information are difficult to find and in danger of being overlooked as they are hidden in the information overload.

Theory is that we would copy them over to the 'hints'n'tips' section.

But agreed, that doesn't get done as much as it should.

FAQ's are easily found simply by joining the forum and using an appropriate Search. Far easier to post a sticky on "how to search the forum." with hints and tips on appropriate ways to get the best out of it.

Most users here strike me as pretty regular browsers and shouldnt have too much trouble getting the hang of it. Those that struggle usually get a pretty prompt answer if it is there.
