Wooden spars

Post by BarnacleBill »

Hello,
I've recently pulled GP14 #889 out of a garage in Newcastle where its been sitting for 10 years. I'm carrying out a light recommission for this season and over the winter I want to restore it to original (well, not cotton sails obviously).

At some point the wooden spars have been swapped for aluminium,

any idea where I could get a spruce mast and boom made?

thanks

Richard

Collars in Oxfordshire are an obvious choice (at a price) but there must be others.
