Restoration of a flying fifteen

Post by alan williams » Mon Jun 06, 2016 3:13 pm

Hi Guys
The flying fifteen needs a total rebuild as regards decks and tanks. I have a potential restorer/boat builder lined up. Can any one suggest other boat builders in the SW area to capable of taking on the job ( this winter),. I haven't the time or skills to produce a Rolls Royce job which is what I'm looking for.
Cheers Al

Tim Coombes is your man if you can wait long enough for delivery. It will be a fantastic job and well worth the wait.

I cant wait to see her on the water in 2020  :D :D

Hi Roger
Thanks for the info on Tim. Unfortunately he can't do the job as his sheds too small to get an FF in. Still looking for other restorers but Kevin Gosling looks to be the main contender at present.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestions. I've gone to Kevin Gosling, Tim Coombes recommended him highly.
Regards Al
Now a trip up to the Welsh Harp Boat Centre to bring down a nice new shiny road trailer.
