Thank you from a newbie with National 12 (N3154)

Post by Sam_N3154 »

Hi All,

I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to say a huge thank you. Without this forum and site I am pretty sure I wouldn't have had a clue what to do.

I got hold of my N12 in March in Plymouth and she needed some work, mostly cosmetic thankfully! So after a strip, seal, repaint, some repairs and re-varnish she is ready to go.

I would love to hear what you all think and if any one knows her from a previous life, some tips would be appreciated. She used to be called "Baggy Aadvark" and now is called "RESURGAM".

Cheers Sam

Cockpit was done by removing varnish, priming, undercoating and masking of design using blue interdeck and white toplac.

You have done a good job on that there! Looks nice.

Somehow I must tempt Tom (our N12's owner) to bring Spider to a meeting.
