Re: Fly on the wall
I think free "to a good home" is the phrase.
It has actually sailed on Roadford Lake - when we brought the junoirs up
Think it has the original sails - only down side is the colour purple.
Neil if you want it give me your number and I'll give it to the owners.
You coming to the Steamer - unfortunatly I cut my thumb badly yesterday so I might be out unless its a drifter.

Re: Fly on the wall
Is there any way that I can put up my hands for either the plans (or at very least a full copy) plus any other supporting documentation. It is too early to say what WILL happen - but it is now looking ever more likely that sometime in the next 6 -12 months a major project will kick off to create a National Racing Dinghy Archive - that would cover past, as well as present, dinghies.
By Netley, I hope to be able to be a lot clearer and more specific. I've already had a lot of detailed information, such as details on the Mark, the Duo......and now, I hope, the Fly.
Watch this space..for you'll be the first to know if it is a 'go' project!
The search for funding is now on, get that in place and it could be good news.

I have permission to explore Fly ownership.....so PM to Andy has been sent
Re: Fly on the wall
Given that you are a Finn sailor and that the Fly is 9 1/2 feet long and has a 44 sq ft sail, I hope there is a camera handy when you take her out!

It's not for me. Honest.
