I'm looking for a name for my new boat, ToY 179. Any suggestions will be given due consideration, and if a name comes up to scratch, I will present the winner with a bottle of wine at an event this year. Charlie has already had "ToyBox" for his Mirror.

ummmm, there's the odd word that rhymes with planker.....

I used to call mine b*st*rd, mainly because every time I came home I used to say that something had broken on the b*st*rd boat.

Hello Rubert,
Well, a name for the TOY? How about Tonka ? Remember those toys? Of course, this name would unfortunately rhyme with at least two less flattering names which the good folk of CVRDA would no doubt spot and more then likely many more.

Tiz a small rig, and will stay that way! Anyone any idea how close a Solo sail is in dimensions? One day I'll get around to seeing, but if it has been done before?
So far, Tonka is winning for me, too!

Hi Rupert
Try laying a Solo sail over your toy sail you should find that they are exactly the same.

When I had my ToY I came across a sailmaker who had 10 (yes 10) new ToY sails.

I'll see if I can find them
