1963 Nore Race, Swift cat and others

There's a very good clip of the 1963 Nore race on the Enterprise site at the moment. It shows a Swift cat going very well, one of the Mark 1 boats before the mast base was moved back. I did the Nore race several times in my Swift. I also did it in my Finn which was much harder work!

I was in that race, aged 2 under the foredeck of my Dads 18 ft National 3rd in class, could have done better but i was too young to helm!
