Post by Pat »

Just working on the Dinghy Database and we have entries under every letter of the alphabet - except Q.

Has there ever been a class beginning with a Q :?:

Not heard of any of the above, but there is certainly the NZ Q class, of which I'm sure Jim C can tell us more! Something along the lines of what is now the 12 foot Skiff, I think?

Yes, the NZ Q Class and the Australian 12ft skiff are both unrestricted 12 footers and have effectively merged.

Quest

15'3" LOA Giles built GRP originally with a GRP mast. Unusual low profile main.

Got a picture anywhere, Nigel?

I'm assuming Mark Giles built, not Morgan Giles, with a GRP mast!

M. G. A Giles whichever that is.

Looks like a big otter. I will have to scan it tomorrow.
