I didn't realize you'd abandoned us, Alan! Have you learned the French for "Starboard" yet?

Nessa, given your location, is'nt Rutland water also an option?

Living in Swindon but sailing in The Cotswold Water Park, like Rupert. Only a different club.

If we cut a channel we could probably visit - save getting the trailor out.

Cheers

it could be, it's a bit further than Grafham but has a different atmosphere.....

I mainly keep a boat at Grafham so I can sail with my sailability mates who are based at the water centre next door.

The water centre next door was where I spent a whole week in late 1974 on a sailing course as a 16 year old Cambridgeshire Constabulary Police Cadet. The only time I've ever been paid to sail!! No pressure as I'd already been sailing for 4 years down the road at Wyboston Sailing Club. Long gone.

Hi All,

I sail at Alton Water in Suffolk, nice club with good access and the staff are great :D

If anyone else is near and fancies a sail in a National 18 or Jollyboat, let me know, you are more than welcome (but please wait till the weather is a bit warmer :? )

Looking forward to the BCBR and the Nationals this year

Regards,

Chris
