Re: Yet another Moth on Fleabay
What a lovely old Moth.
I had my first go of my son Chris's Moth recently in very light conditions, and it was very nice.
Just have to lose a couple of Stone first though, I will never be quick enough under the boom with my buoyancy aid jammed between my belly and my chin, trying to choke me!
I would also be nice when I can't find a crew

That is my old Moth! Winner of a few cvrda events several years ago, and previously owned by Mark Collyer. I re-built her with the short foredeck and wide sidedecks with no tanks to make her have max space inside - places for feet to go - and to stop the complications of centreboard cases leaking into front tanks. The downside is, of course, that capsizing is a game-ender. I never did believe in it, anyway!

I ought to buy it as the BM Nationals are going to be held soon at my club. But I won't as I've never liked sailing them!

Any idea of the build year ?
Re: Yet another Moth on Fleabay
I did know... Pre 1965, so a "Classic" not an "Old" in wing terms.
