what's worrying is I glanced at that on fleaBay and didn't notice anything amiss. But I have seen that done.

I've seen an Enterprise sailing around like that at Whitefriars in the past, but the gaff bending so spectacularly adds another dimension.

Yes....spotted this and was going to post it on the thread about training etc.......a wonderful example of something that should never have left the shore.....and, more importantly, is the sort of stupidity that puts our life-boat crews at unnecessary risk, and will eventually lead to everyone needing some sort of certificate to go afloat. This makes me really mad I'm afraid......but luckily by the time safety afloat (on the coast, anyway) is policed, I will probably be arranging my own Viking send off!
