Uncomfortably close to the wood pile!

(Is that a form of emotional blackmail or just a pressure sales technique.?)

Chris was trying to persuade me to take on a ribbed Merlin. I know my limitations so I replied "Do you really want another boat to look after"?

I'm not convinced this is a Nat 12.

Not really that similar, though I suppose boats might have been built that looked different to the norm in the early days, or grandfathered into the class. Not like this, though. Mind, what did the Barnt Green One Design look like?

Nice looking boat, mind. Probably worth more if it isn't an old racing dinghy.

Yes I think you may have hit the (copper) nail on the head.

What I would say to Chis is that this boat does have just the right kind of buoyancy for your old i14!

Those White painted things

I am tempted to ask if this boat does go to scrap, for first dibs on those!
