In 1976 the Finns were supplied boats. For some reason Vanguard springs to mind. I think you can be rather confident that boat wasn't used at the '76 games, but Finn experts are very welcome to correct me, this is dim corners of the brain!

Jim is right, Finns were supplied by the host country at the 76 games, and Pearsons were never used at Olympics. I'm not sure either, but I can check at home, I think it was Vanguards in 76 following Maders in 72.

Putting in a new step and deck adjustment cost me about £30 on my Fairey, the cost of an acetal plate and some ss bolts. I've still got nearly half the acetal plate left. It really is very simple.

This is 119, a Pearson. Exactly the same bow fitting............
