Yet another number!
Secret Water 111 had a similar (but botched) arrangement with walls with big holes in them to shove the buoyancy bags. Main problem was that they had dropped 1" square posts down from the deck frame onto the hull planks to support the ply and the weight of the crew and helm was transmitted onto the hull through this small surface area and the planks had cracked - lots of repairing there. These were removed and I went back to the original rolled decks with the buoyancy bags underneath the deck and the weight taken by the thwart and fore and aft cross members. Actually the original buoyancy was provided by aluminium tanks which Chris still has in Iska and he informs me that they ping in the warm weather. (Not much pinging in Aberdeen today then!!)
