For those wishing to practice their tacking technique and don't sail anything too big Chippenham is a cheap and cheerful event......
But, at thee moment we have a bit too much water

Nice and deep for a change...infact, about as deep on the patio as the river normally is!

The river is back to normal and the club house cleaned, so all seems OK for the W/E provided there isn't another dose of the wet stuff from above.
Some idea of how many are coming please, and those wanting to camp, as long as the ground isn't too soggy, alternative bunk house in the changing rooms always available.

We will be there for the Moths, but as Doh-nut doesn't qualify on age, and Saskia will be in the garage drying out for surgery by then, not sure about Sunday. Are there any boats in the long grass that we could resurrect for Kathryn to sail on the Sunday? Camping seems unlikely, now, given the general sogginess of Wiltshire, currently!

Hoping Sandy will get paint on the Bobbin in time for Sunday as it's the best chance to sail her. This smallest boat has the biggest jib sheets and cleats you've ever seen - they'd look more at home on HMS Victory!!!!
